Halloween was eerily warm and spookily windy; a strong breeze out of the south whipped the water and kept the clouds scurrying across the bay and the natural division of sand, water and sky reminded me of Rothko's Color Field paintings. Enjoy!

I have a repro Rothko in my office that I loved until our EVP said to me one day, "Does that big black space in the painting remind you of the black hole that's in your life now that you're working here?" Well, gosh, NOW IT DOES. Every. Stinking. Day.
Does EVP stand for Extraneous Venomous Person?
